Brook has led a series of large scale educational projects with primary school children since 1990, aimed at enabling pupils to learn drawing in greater depth through observing their environment over a sustained period of time. These skills are explored further by the pupils in collaboration with artists from different disciplines to combine large scale work with performance. Lasair Ealain is an arts committee of children at Bunsgoil Shlèite, Skye set up with Brook in 2004 to initiate and manage innovative, ambitious and exciting art projects in collaboration with professional artists of differing disciplines.
