Shetland. Displaced curved line | 2013 |

Sandstone from Ratchie Quarry, Sumburgh.
The curved walls are seen as a single work that respond to the slope of the ground. The work enables the viewer to physically experience a continuous line first on one side then the other by passing through. The work will change in dynamic according to the light and conditions in which it is experienced.

This work was commissioned by Shetland Arts during the exhibition of Made, Unmade at the Bonhoga Gallery June 2013.
